  • Behind the Pages: Designing the Zoned Gaming Magazine

Designing a gaming magazine might sound like a dream project for a designer, and I won’t lie — it was. Zoned is more than just a gaming magazine; it’s a deep dive into the vibrant, ever-evolving world of gaming culture. The challenge? Making sure the design not only reflected this dynamic world but also felt fresh, engaging, and totally immersive. Every spread was an opportunity to craft a unique visual experience. I carefully balanced bold typography with stunning visuals to capture the excitement of gaming. The layout had to be dynamic, mirroring the fast-paced, immersive nature of gaming itself. But, it had to be readable too — because at the end of the day, design is all about enhancing the user experience, right? For Zoned, it was about more than just aesthetics. The design needed to pull readers into the story, offering an experience that’s as thrilling as the games we were covering. From concept to cover, every decision was made with the reader in mind, ensuring the magazine was not only informative but a joy to explore.

  • Designing for Impact: A Deep Dive into Feeding Forward UX/UI

When it comes to creating a user experience that feels both intuitive and meaningful, every pixel matters. Feeding Forward was a project close to my heart, blending technology with a mission to tackle food waste. As a designer, the challenge was clear: how can I craft an experience that not only helps users navigate easily but also empowers them to take action? Starting with a user-first approach, I focused on simplifying the user journey. From sign-up to the delivery of food, every touchpoint was designed to ensure a seamless flow. By integrating clean visuals and a minimalistic design, I wanted to create a space that feels welcoming and easy to use, even for someone who might not be tech-savvy. The real design win? Seeing how users interacted with the app and actually felt like they were making a difference. The power of UX/UI goes beyond just looks; it’s about crafting experiences that inspire users to take action for a greater cause.

  • Shaping Noor: A Brand Built on Radiance and Authenticity

When I first sat down to design Noor, I knew it was about more than just a beautiful logo or a trendy color palette. Noor is all about celebrating natural beauty and empowering individuals to embrace their skin. This meant the design had to reflect the essence of light, authenticity, and wellness. The challenge? Striking the perfect balance between modern sophistication and holistic wellness. The brand’s visual identity had to radiate warmth and clarity while also feeling grounded and true to its mission of natural beauty. The logo? A symbol that captures both the literal and figurative radiance of the brand. The colour palette? Soft, luminous tones that evoke calmness, light, and vitality. Every design element was carefully considered to reflect the values that Noor stands for — confidence, authenticity, and self-care. Designing for a brand with such a powerful mission was an incredibly rewarding experience. With Noor, it wasn’t just about creating something beautiful; it was about crafting a brand identity that spoke to the heart of its users, encouraging them to embrace their natural beauty and shine brighter every day.
